| Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) program is provided to those involved with the care of pediatric patients. PALS is an American Heart Association program. It is a 2-day program for new providers. The course includes lectures, skills stations and interactive sessions that integrate knowledge and skills into clinical situations.
FEE: Free to MedCentral employees.
Non-MedCentral employees: Provider Course $150.00
Renewal Course $75.00
All 2012 (PALS) classes will be held in Carpenter Center Room 206.

PALS provider manuals can be signed out through the hospital library or purchased online or by phone through the following companies:
Manuals cost approximately $38.00 plus shipping and handling. Adequate preparation is essential. You must complete the pretest prior to the course. The PALS pretest will be collected upon admission to the course.
